Tuner: A Sharp, Suspenseful Acoustic Thriller!

Tuner: A Super Tense Thriller Where Music Meets Crime 🎹🔒 Directed by Daniel Roher (the guy who made Navalny ), Tuner takes a very quiet, old-school job and turns it into a high-voltage mind game. It is a lot like those classic suspense movies where a person’s special talent becomes their biggest problem. The movie beautifully turns the simple science of sound and pitch into pure thrill, giving us a super smart robbery story. The Vibe: Amazing Sound Design Meets Big Crime 🎚️🏢 The film does a great job of showing a deep character story while keeping you on the edge of your seat. The Story: We follow a lonely, super-focused piano tuner who has a literal superpower, he has 'perfect pitch' and can understand sounds like nobody else. His quiet daily routine goes out the window when a fancy gang of criminals forces him to join them. The Robbery: The mission is perfectly made for him. He has to use his crazy good hearing to crack an impossible, high-security loc...

Identity Movie Review: Drishyam X 100?

In 2024, everyone realized that if you want great content on a budget, you have to watch Malayalam cinema. It's a masterclass in horror across every category. Perhaps very few people know that Ajay Devgn's classic film "Drishyam" and Akshay Kumar's iconic movie "Bhool Bhulaiyaa" are also remakes of Malayalam films. Suspense thrillers are a category where no matter how many films you watch, it never feels enough. So today, I'm going to tell you about a film that packs the suspense of ten movies into one. You might find it hard to believe, but in less than three hours, this film can blow your mind with its story. Get ready to experience a thrilling film. But before we start the review, I have just one request: if you like this film, please search for and watch all the movies of Tovino Thomas.

This film is based on a real-life famous case in which a sketch artist sits in front of a witness, creating a portrait of a criminal by recalling their eyes, mouth, and hair. But perhaps no one could have imagined the face that would emerge once the sketch was completed: the very same artist who drew it. Don’t overthink it; the sketch artist is neither a criminal nor a murderer. In fact, the woman who commissioned the sketch had a condition that prevented her from distinguishing between two faces. In this new film, a similar scenario unfolds. A girl is a witness to a horrific fire in an old factory in the city, which claims many lives. She knows who set the fire, and as the sketch is drawn, the face that appears is that of the artist creating it.

Now, forget all that for a moment. At a famous shop in the city, a girl steps out after buying clothes for her wedding, only to discover something strange in the trial room: a hidden camera that has been recording girls continuously, with thousands of videos already stored. Set that news aside as well. Thousands of feet up in the sky, a plane is flying with around a hundred people on board, and one peculiar thing connects all the passengers: their names seem mismatched with their faces. Then, suddenly, the plane disappears from the radar.

Now, let’s shift gears to a fourth story: in the emergency ICU of a hospital, a patient lies in bed next to a lady doctor. The interesting twist here is that this time, it's not the doctor holding a syringe; instead, the patient has a gun in hand. The patient could take the doctor’s life instead.

And here’s one last story: a tragic accident leaves three children orphaned, losing their parents at a young age. Among them is a small boy who, at just four or five years old, runs a library and remembers exactly which writer's book is in which box and what it contains. You might be tired from all these different stories, but the real test is still ahead, my friend. Because what you think this film is about is a hundred times smarter than that. All five stories are interconnected; they are not separate tales. The storytelling approach is casual, but just imagine how many twists and turns are coming in these narratives, and how intense the suspense will be to connect them all.

Still, I must say, what I’ve shared might only scratch the surface of the incredible content that will shatter your expectations in this film. The climax is something you might not have even dreamed of! It can stand shoulder to shoulder with "Drishyam" and "Bhool Bhulaiyaa" in terms of the all-time greatest endings. Starting with the sketch artist's drawing and culminating in the story of the plane that vanishes into thin air, this is what true cinema looks like. And you’re in luck because you won’t need to go to a theatre to watch this film. This time, cinema will come to your home. "Identity" was just released on 31st January, 2025 on Zee5, and you can enjoy it comfortably with your family. There’s no adult content, just a smart story waiting for you.

Once you finish this film, check out my review of a new Malayalam movie released on OTT which is Officer On Duty. Cancel your plans, brew some hot tea, and prepare to enjoy 2 to 3 hours of pure entertainment. Read my review to know more. Click Here For The review of Officer On Duty

Narivetta: The Wolf Hunt Movie Review: Tovino Thomas' Boldest Film YET??

So, I watched the movie Narivetta, which actually released in theatres a month ago. But I didn’t get a chance to watch it earlier because there was no watch option available here. I wanted to watch it mainly because, first of all, Malayalam films usually have strong content, and secondly, this movie had created quite a hype after its theatrical release. Now, this movie has come on Sony Liv, it was supposed to release on 11th July, but they uploaded it a day earlier. Anyway, it’s finally here, and I have watched it. The total length of the movie is around two hours and fifteen minutes. The first half may make you wonder whether to continue watching or not because the gripping moments, which you expect in any content, disappear after the first 15 minutes. It follows a simple storyline about one man who is poor but educated. He works very hard to become an IPS officer, but due to his family’s poor financial condition, he is forced to take a job as a CRPF constable. After that, the story t...

Meiyazhagan Movie Review: A Story of Stories, Forgotten Memories, and Quiet Reflections

You cannot call yourself a true fan of Indian cinema until you have watched the masterpiece 96 from the Tamil film industry. It is an experience that takes all of us back in time under the pretext of showing a film. This cinema is more real and emotional than real life itself, where you start finding yourself, and when the film ends, you try your best to somehow change its ending. Very few movies are made that you won’t find a single person in the entire world speaking against. Every person who has watched this film became a lifelong fan. The story of Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha was truly once in a lifetime. Every single scene in the film was perfect, every dialogue had meaning, and the music was heavenly. But listen carefully, I said ‘was’, because past tense no longer applies. Now, in the present, there is a film that can rival 96, a film so flawless that no human on this earth can find a mistake in it. If anyone asks for the true meaning of the word ‘cinema’, just show them this fil...

Argylle Movie Review: A Shocking No-Hype Film

So I went to see Superman i.e. Henry Cavill's latest film Argylle which is a spy comedy thriller movie of 2 hours 19 minutes. How is this film, let's talk. Well hello, my name is Artist and we will meet again and again. First of all, this film is not hyped, brother, no seriously, the show I went to, the theatre was actually completely empty. Well, is it worth taking interest or not? Let's talk about the movie, brother, even though its story is from a spy genre, Story telling and concept shown is very different, I mean from a writer's point of view, in the first half you will feel as if you are watching a super natural fictional story, I will not tell much otherwise it will be a spoiler. But the way the writer's fictional character has been connected with real life was great and also I liked the action sequences and editing of this film is the best, the best example of which you can see in its train sequence. You will find it in the sequence where a good fight is goi...
