Tuner: A Sharp, Suspenseful Acoustic Thriller!

Tuner: A Super Tense Thriller Where Music Meets Crime 🎹🔒 Directed by Daniel Roher (the guy who made Navalny ), Tuner takes a very quiet, old-school job and turns it into a high-voltage mind game. It is a lot like those classic suspense movies where a person’s special talent becomes their biggest problem. The movie beautifully turns the simple science of sound and pitch into pure thrill, giving us a super smart robbery story. The Vibe: Amazing Sound Design Meets Big Crime 🎚️🏢 The film does a great job of showing a deep character story while keeping you on the edge of your seat. The Story: We follow a lonely, super-focused piano tuner who has a literal superpower, he has 'perfect pitch' and can understand sounds like nobody else. His quiet daily routine goes out the window when a fancy gang of criminals forces him to join them. The Robbery: The mission is perfectly made for him. He has to use his crazy good hearing to crack an impossible, high-security loc...

Fateh Movie Review: Action Without a Real Punch??

These days, everyone is rushing after mass cinema, and from within that mass cinema, the action category has emerged, which is currently trending big time. Sandeep Vanga lit a spark with Animal, and Marco turned that spark into a fire. After watching that film, people were fainting. So, brother, imagine what will happen to you after watching a film where a seemingly normal plastic plate can cut a moving human’s head into two pieces. Welcome to Fateh’s world, where nothing is normal. The guy uses his teeth instead of a hanger to hang clothes! Understand it this way: Fateh is like a warning bell, signaling what Bollywood’s future will look like and how it will unfold. Whatever sells, that’s what gets made. You’re watching a YouTube video, but what’s happening inside it is very different, I mean very very different.

A simple chair, and on it sits a living person, hands and feet tied with electric wires. As soon as the video starts streaming live on the internet, electric current runs through the wires attached to the chair. The more likes and comments the video gets, the higher the voltage of the current increases. The longer the person lives, the stronger the current becomes, and the longer the video runs, the more money is earned. The business model is very simple, my friend. Sounds new, right? The makers have taken this scene from 100 films where a deadly game is played with people for three full hours. And the principal of the school where all this is taught is Fateh himself, who introduces himself like a secret agent. What does he do? He arranges meetings between humans and God.

Actually, many people ask him questions before dying, wondering if they deserve death in such a manner. Maybe they got their answers. But this time, technology has come between Fateh and death, there’s a computer now. With technology, dying peacefully is a thing of the past. Cybercrime is the biggest villain in the world today, my friend. The mobile phone on which you’re reading this phone is watching you 24 hours a day. Your mind is in your body, but someone else controls what it is thinking. Whether that’s good or bad, no one knows. There are only two options: either become the one who presses the chair’s button or be the one who sits on that chair. Fateh bhaiyya, what will you choose? Here’s the best part: Sonu Sood himself has written Fateh, directed it, and acted in the lead role. That’s why every scene and its presentation is perfectly planned in Sonu Sood’s mind.

Not a single extra or unnecessary scene has been added. After working on the film for four years, Sonu Sood knows well that he doesn’t know when his next film as the lead hero will come. That’s why he has made Fateh with all his heart. The film is not taken lightly even for a moment. It’s serious cinema, so that no one can question the money spent on it. The film clearly explains what brutal violence means and also shows it. Never peek through the peephole of a door, because sometimes bullets come through it. The honest truth is that Fateh’s story is not new at all. You could easily explain it to someone in a single line. The film doesn’t have too many twists or suspense. The story runs straightforwardly and reaches the climax without cheating anyone.

The end will be shown on the screen, but even slight scenes are presented in a special way, that’s the power of Fateh. I learnt 50-60 new ways to kill a person by watching this film. Especially, the use of a knife might be more useful in some other business than the kitchen. Got the point? And did you know even a dead person’s eyes can unlock a phone? The action is intense, but innovative too. Yes, those with weak hearts might get a bit scared because in the film, the queen of chess decides someone’s life or death. Just think how terrifying this film must be that Vijay Raaz turned his crow biryani into a death businessman. Totally serious, no nonsense.

I’ll give just one advice: don’t use too much brain because the film doesn’t want that from you. Just watch it with your eyes and enjoy it till the end. Fateh will get three stars out of five from me. First, it’s pure brutal cinema, no filters, no child-friendly violence. Second, Sonu Sood’s career-best performance will embarrass Bollywood for not making a film where John and Sonu Sood could be seen together. Third, the cybercrime angle linked with live killing is a terrifying idea but different from other Bollywood films. Honestly speaking, in the negatives, if I hadn’t watched Marco a few days earlier, Fateh would have got much more respect because Marco has set a different level. Also, Fateh’s ending action sequence, which should have been the main highlight, is a direct copy of Ranbir’s sequence in Animal. That’s why the excitement died down. Straight talk, no beating around the bush: Fateh is a live experience film, watch it for the presentation, not the story. Only in theatres would you get the full fun; OTT won’t be as enjoyable. Sonu Sood has made this film from the heart; don’t watch it with your brain.

Narivetta: The Wolf Hunt Movie Review: Tovino Thomas' Boldest Film YET??

So, I watched the movie Narivetta, which actually released in theatres a month ago. But I didn’t get a chance to watch it earlier because there was no watch option available here. I wanted to watch it mainly because, first of all, Malayalam films usually have strong content, and secondly, this movie had created quite a hype after its theatrical release. Now, this movie has come on Sony Liv, it was supposed to release on 11th July, but they uploaded it a day earlier. Anyway, it’s finally here, and I have watched it. The total length of the movie is around two hours and fifteen minutes. The first half may make you wonder whether to continue watching or not because the gripping moments, which you expect in any content, disappear after the first 15 minutes. It follows a simple storyline about one man who is poor but educated. He works very hard to become an IPS officer, but due to his family’s poor financial condition, he is forced to take a job as a CRPF constable. After that, the story t...

Meiyazhagan Movie Review: A Story of Stories, Forgotten Memories, and Quiet Reflections

You cannot call yourself a true fan of Indian cinema until you have watched the masterpiece 96 from the Tamil film industry. It is an experience that takes all of us back in time under the pretext of showing a film. This cinema is more real and emotional than real life itself, where you start finding yourself, and when the film ends, you try your best to somehow change its ending. Very few movies are made that you won’t find a single person in the entire world speaking against. Every person who has watched this film became a lifelong fan. The story of Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha was truly once in a lifetime. Every single scene in the film was perfect, every dialogue had meaning, and the music was heavenly. But listen carefully, I said ‘was’, because past tense no longer applies. Now, in the present, there is a film that can rival 96, a film so flawless that no human on this earth can find a mistake in it. If anyone asks for the true meaning of the word ‘cinema’, just show them this fil...

Argylle Movie Review: A Shocking No-Hype Film

So I went to see Superman i.e. Henry Cavill's latest film Argylle which is a spy comedy thriller movie of 2 hours 19 minutes. How is this film, let's talk. Well hello, my name is Artist and we will meet again and again. First of all, this film is not hyped, brother, no seriously, the show I went to, the theatre was actually completely empty. Well, is it worth taking interest or not? Let's talk about the movie, brother, even though its story is from a spy genre, Story telling and concept shown is very different, I mean from a writer's point of view, in the first half you will feel as if you are watching a super natural fictional story, I will not tell much otherwise it will be a spoiler. But the way the writer's fictional character has been connected with real life was great and also I liked the action sequences and editing of this film is the best, the best example of which you can see in its train sequence. You will find it in the sequence where a good fight is goi...
