Tuner: A Sharp, Suspenseful Acoustic Thriller!

Tuner: A Super Tense Thriller Where Music Meets Crime 🎹🔒 Directed by Daniel Roher (the guy who made Navalny ), Tuner takes a very quiet, old-school job and turns it into a high-voltage mind game. It is a lot like those classic suspense movies where a person’s special talent becomes their biggest problem. The movie beautifully turns the simple science of sound and pitch into pure thrill, giving us a super smart robbery story. The Vibe: Amazing Sound Design Meets Big Crime 🎚️🏢 The film does a great job of showing a deep character story while keeping you on the edge of your seat. The Story: We follow a lonely, super-focused piano tuner who has a literal superpower, he has 'perfect pitch' and can understand sounds like nobody else. His quiet daily routine goes out the window when a fancy gang of criminals forces him to join them. The Robbery: The mission is perfectly made for him. He has to use his crazy good hearing to crack an impossible, high-security loc...

Logout Movie Review: Babil Khan’s Wake-Up Call For The Digital Bharat??

For 100 minutes, there will be only one actor on screen who will cry, make you cry, laugh, make you laugh, and in the end, might kill someone and then die himself. Boss, hearing such a plot, it’s impossible that this face doesn’t come to your mind. You’ve thought absolutely right because Irfan Junior has brought fame to his father’s name. Babil Khan made his OTT debut with 'Qaila,' and there’s hardly any need to explain how amazing that film was, it was a completely different cinema that Bollywood can’t even imagine nowadays. Now, once again, he has made a comeback on OTT with something equally unique, a film that will make you think deeply and may even blur the line between film and real life.

The film is called 'Logout,' which has been directly released on Zee5 at your home. There’s neither a big star cast nor a 100-200 crore budget. It’s purely for content lovers. The picture is just 100 minutes long, with Babil alone on screen for 95 minutes, and the remaining five minutes reveal the suspense and the logic behind the story. It’s a powerful thriller with twists and turns, appearing simple from the outside but as each scene unfolds, your heart starts pounding. In simple words, the film is like a psychological thriller, meaning the more you think about it, the more it affects your mind, and if you don’t think, you won’t enjoy it.

I strongly recommend this film to anyone addicted to their phone or unable to keep themselves away from social media because what happens in the film could happen to anyone. Once you watch it, you’ll surely realise that phones are not so easy to give up, but you will definitely take better care of yourself. If possible, watch it with your family as there is nothing adult, mature, or vulgar in the scenes. Besides, phone addiction has no age limit and everyone should watch and stay cautious.

The story revolves around a social media influencer who is currently just 2 lakh followers short of his biggest goal which is 1 crore followers. He is in a tough competition with another social media star, who is just a hand’s length behind in the race for 1 crore. If she reaches first, it will be humiliating for him, and he will also lose out on advertisement money, facing a double blow. Now, all sorts of crazy ideas start running in his mind as he wants to connect with as many people as possible on social media quickly. Finally, a plan is ready. The social media star, after getting drunk at a party, goes online and requests his fans to help him reach the 1 crore mark as soon as possible.

The next morning, when he wakes up, the remote control with which he manages those 1 crore people is missing. Apparently, he lost his phone while intoxicated last night. This is where the real game of the story begins. When a bell rings on his computer, a sweet girl’s voice is heard. The last scene of the film shows a gun with fingers on the trigger, aimed at someone’s head, ready to fire in a second. How did a simple phone issue lead to such a situation? The entire story revolves around this, mixing suspense and a little fear.

There isn’t much more to say about this film because it’s not just a film, it’s an experience. You will relate to it only after watching it. It’s not a masterpiece, but yes, it’s different, unique, and tries to show something new, which Babil has made very real with his acting. Even the voice you hear on the computer screen has impressed me a lot. To make an impact with just a voice in a film, where both the actor and the audience feel scared, is something Bollywood should pick up on and make top-quality cinema on a big scale.

As for the viewers, I don’t know, but content-wise, it will soar high. 'Logout' deserves three out of five stars because of: first, the subject of the film; second, 90 minutes of Babil versus a secret voice; and third, the impactful experience it leaves in real life. Negatives include average writing, although the points made are real, they aren’t particularly special, and the climax, which is intense but a bit illogical. It’s a 100-minute film that offers something fresh and different. You don’t even have to buy a ticket, just watch it at home with family. There’s no harm in that.

Narivetta: The Wolf Hunt Movie Review: Tovino Thomas' Boldest Film YET??

So, I watched the movie Narivetta, which actually released in theatres a month ago. But I didn’t get a chance to watch it earlier because there was no watch option available here. I wanted to watch it mainly because, first of all, Malayalam films usually have strong content, and secondly, this movie had created quite a hype after its theatrical release. Now, this movie has come on Sony Liv, it was supposed to release on 11th July, but they uploaded it a day earlier. Anyway, it’s finally here, and I have watched it. The total length of the movie is around two hours and fifteen minutes. The first half may make you wonder whether to continue watching or not because the gripping moments, which you expect in any content, disappear after the first 15 minutes. It follows a simple storyline about one man who is poor but educated. He works very hard to become an IPS officer, but due to his family’s poor financial condition, he is forced to take a job as a CRPF constable. After that, the story t...

Meiyazhagan Movie Review: A Story of Stories, Forgotten Memories, and Quiet Reflections

You cannot call yourself a true fan of Indian cinema until you have watched the masterpiece 96 from the Tamil film industry. It is an experience that takes all of us back in time under the pretext of showing a film. This cinema is more real and emotional than real life itself, where you start finding yourself, and when the film ends, you try your best to somehow change its ending. Very few movies are made that you won’t find a single person in the entire world speaking against. Every person who has watched this film became a lifelong fan. The story of Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha was truly once in a lifetime. Every single scene in the film was perfect, every dialogue had meaning, and the music was heavenly. But listen carefully, I said ‘was’, because past tense no longer applies. Now, in the present, there is a film that can rival 96, a film so flawless that no human on this earth can find a mistake in it. If anyone asks for the true meaning of the word ‘cinema’, just show them this fil...

Argylle Movie Review: A Shocking No-Hype Film

So I went to see Superman i.e. Henry Cavill's latest film Argylle which is a spy comedy thriller movie of 2 hours 19 minutes. How is this film, let's talk. Well hello, my name is Artist and we will meet again and again. First of all, this film is not hyped, brother, no seriously, the show I went to, the theatre was actually completely empty. Well, is it worth taking interest or not? Let's talk about the movie, brother, even though its story is from a spy genre, Story telling and concept shown is very different, I mean from a writer's point of view, in the first half you will feel as if you are watching a super natural fictional story, I will not tell much otherwise it will be a spoiler. But the way the writer's fictional character has been connected with real life was great and also I liked the action sequences and editing of this film is the best, the best example of which you can see in its train sequence. You will find it in the sequence where a good fight is goi...
