Tuner: A Sharp, Suspenseful Acoustic Thriller!

Tuner: A Super Tense Thriller Where Music Meets Crime 🎹🔒 Directed by Daniel Roher (the guy who made Navalny ), Tuner takes a very quiet, old-school job and turns it into a high-voltage mind game. It is a lot like those classic suspense movies where a person’s special talent becomes their biggest problem. The movie beautifully turns the simple science of sound and pitch into pure thrill, giving us a super smart robbery story. The Vibe: Amazing Sound Design Meets Big Crime 🎚️🏢 The film does a great job of showing a deep character story while keeping you on the edge of your seat. The Story: We follow a lonely, super-focused piano tuner who has a literal superpower, he has 'perfect pitch' and can understand sounds like nobody else. His quiet daily routine goes out the window when a fancy gang of criminals forces him to join them. The Robbery: The mission is perfectly made for him. He has to use his crazy good hearing to crack an impossible, high-security loc...

Indian 2 Movie Review: Worst Film Of All Time??

Close your eyes for a second and imagine that the calendar reads 2030, and today a film titled "Baahubali 3" is being released in theatres. How special does that make you feel? There’s nothing better than a popular franchise making a comeback, especially if your favorite hero returns in some way. Just think about the strong connection we have with a film that's ten years old, and yet there’s so much excitement for its third part, which hasn’t even been officially announced yet. Now, imagine the expectations for a film whose sequel took 28 years to make! The calendar has turned from 1996 to 2024 for a film featuring India’s most versatile actor, who has overshadowed the biggest pan-Indian superstar with just two scenes. And who is the director behind this film?

The one with an unbeaten 100% success record in Indian cinema—31 years and zero flops. There’s no issue with budget either; reports suggest that almost 250 crores have been spent to get this film ready for its final stage. Money is flowing like water! After hearing all this, one thought comes to mind: game changer, masterpiece. This is cinema that might be remembered for a century. But what you’re thinking might be 50% right and 50% completely wrong. People will definitely remember "Indian 2" for the next hundred years, but there’s a dangerous warning here. What happens to a film that has a sequel factor, great actors, and a genius director with unlimited budget but zero story and content? It’s like being blindfolded and then suddenly finding yourself behind the wheel of a car on a road where you crash, it’s a disaster.

For those who follow South cinema from a distance, you might know that Shankar and Rajamouli are often compared for the number one position as the greatest directors in Indian cinema. After watching "Indian 2," this debate comes to an end. One director brought home an Oscar with "RRR" after "Baahubali," while the other has returned with a nonsensical film after a string of classic South Indian movies like Kalki, Maharaja and Manjummel Boys. If there’s an award for the world’s stupidest film, it should be taken from whoever has it and given to Indian 2, because it is the worst cinema of 2024. If any film could be a close competitor to Adipurush for the title of biggest disaster of the decade, it would be this one.

A freedom fighter returns to end corruption through social media, but in the end, reality is greater than honesty. If I can summarize the plot of a three-hour film in just one line, think about what must have happened in the remaining 2 hours and 59 minutes in the theater. It’s not even the kind of time pass where you can peacefully close your eyes and sleep. Who knows about peace, but rest in peace for South cinema if such movies keep getting made. No director should be allowed to disrespect his own greatest film of all time, especially after almost 30 years; NASA might need to research this. There’s not a single good thing in Indian 2, neither the film’s idea nor its execution. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that an Instagram post from two years ago, like Nayak, which was about one man against the system, had everything like politics, mass action, and masala.

Even today, watching that film on repeat wouldn’t feel boring. So when you have the opportunity to make a film about a subject like corruption in 2024, what do you do? You trick the audience. The biggest irony is that while aiming for greatness, the final result turns this film into the biggest scam of 2024. Where did all the budget go? The visual effects are so poor that even Adipurush would win in comparison. The visuals are not impressive at all; instead, they look cheap. The action scenes feel childish, lacking any real-life essence, and Anirudh’s music in this film might be the worst of his career giving zero impact. Here’s my advice: don’t follow social media influencers blindly for roasting; the real champions are those who brutally roast their own 30-year cinematic legacy in just three hours. Watching Indian 2 on OTT will feel like having one hand here, one foot there, one eye over there, and your brain somewhere else. It’s an experience that’s incredibly confusing, without any purpose.

There’s a scene that runs non-stop for 10-20 minutes, contributing nothing to the story. On top of that, after casting incredible actors, wasting their talent is nothing short of a sin. To describe this situation, a dialogue from Shankar’s other film fits perfectly. A special punishment has been written in the Garuda Purana for a film like Indian 2. So, a short review for Indian 2 can be summed up in one word: WASTE! Waste of time, waste of money, waste of opportunity, and also waste for Indian cinema. I wouldn’t give this film any rating out of five. If it were any other director or a new actor, I might have found a reason to give it one star. But when such big artists come together and don’t think twice about creating this for 250 crores, it’s only fair to give their film extra criticism.

So here are five reasons for the zero rating: terrible direction, totally confused and ridiculous acting, loud over-the-top music, and visuals and sets that are the biggest deception. The storyline is utterly childish; even Cartoon Network has more sense. If you respect cinema, please do yourself a favor and quietly book tickets for L2: Empuraan or The Diplomat.

Narivetta: The Wolf Hunt Movie Review: Tovino Thomas' Boldest Film YET??

So, I watched the movie Narivetta, which actually released in theatres a month ago. But I didn’t get a chance to watch it earlier because there was no watch option available here. I wanted to watch it mainly because, first of all, Malayalam films usually have strong content, and secondly, this movie had created quite a hype after its theatrical release. Now, this movie has come on Sony Liv, it was supposed to release on 11th July, but they uploaded it a day earlier. Anyway, it’s finally here, and I have watched it. The total length of the movie is around two hours and fifteen minutes. The first half may make you wonder whether to continue watching or not because the gripping moments, which you expect in any content, disappear after the first 15 minutes. It follows a simple storyline about one man who is poor but educated. He works very hard to become an IPS officer, but due to his family’s poor financial condition, he is forced to take a job as a CRPF constable. After that, the story t...

Meiyazhagan Movie Review: A Story of Stories, Forgotten Memories, and Quiet Reflections

You cannot call yourself a true fan of Indian cinema until you have watched the masterpiece 96 from the Tamil film industry. It is an experience that takes all of us back in time under the pretext of showing a film. This cinema is more real and emotional than real life itself, where you start finding yourself, and when the film ends, you try your best to somehow change its ending. Very few movies are made that you won’t find a single person in the entire world speaking against. Every person who has watched this film became a lifelong fan. The story of Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha was truly once in a lifetime. Every single scene in the film was perfect, every dialogue had meaning, and the music was heavenly. But listen carefully, I said ‘was’, because past tense no longer applies. Now, in the present, there is a film that can rival 96, a film so flawless that no human on this earth can find a mistake in it. If anyone asks for the true meaning of the word ‘cinema’, just show them this fil...

Argylle Movie Review: A Shocking No-Hype Film

So I went to see Superman i.e. Henry Cavill's latest film Argylle which is a spy comedy thriller movie of 2 hours 19 minutes. How is this film, let's talk. Well hello, my name is Artist and we will meet again and again. First of all, this film is not hyped, brother, no seriously, the show I went to, the theatre was actually completely empty. Well, is it worth taking interest or not? Let's talk about the movie, brother, even though its story is from a spy genre, Story telling and concept shown is very different, I mean from a writer's point of view, in the first half you will feel as if you are watching a super natural fictional story, I will not tell much otherwise it will be a spoiler. But the way the writer's fictional character has been connected with real life was great and also I liked the action sequences and editing of this film is the best, the best example of which you can see in its train sequence. You will find it in the sequence where a good fight is goi...
