Marco Movie Review:

Malayalam Industry- Most Violent Indian Movie Ever

Look the story is about revenge, it is that simple, nothing else but the level at which this revenge has been shown brutally is out of this world. I have never seen such an Indian film till date.  I will first talk about the first half of the movie because it is almost a quarter of an hour long movie. The first half seemed very cold to me although the entire theatre was housefull but there was no shouting or clapping, people were just watching.

There are only one or two scenes in which brutality is shown. And the build up of the story line keeps going on but brother as soon as the movie came in the interval block, the game started from there, hands are being cut, legs are being cut, everything is getting separated from the body, there is blood everywhere. How did the censor pass this for the theatre audience, it should be 21+ or 23+ not 18+. But honestly saying, there is nothing in this film except brutality. Don't sit looking for the story line. Unni Mukundam the lead actor who has also produced the film has given his career best performance and i am afraid that it's a BLOODY ONE.

But the camera angles are very good during the brutal scenes in some places, there are corridor scenes and there is a scene with a staircase, they take one take but they call it a smart cut brother, but yes it seems natural. I can't say that this is the best film of 2024 only on the basis of brutality. This film has made it clear in the Malayalam industry that you can go beyond your imagination just like Maharaja or Animal which changed the perspective of the audience as well that Indian films can be better than Hollywood or International Cinema.

Among all the Indian films, this was a brutality overloaded film. At some places, it was so much that if you are weak hearted person, you will vomit, especially in the second half. There are hardly any songs in the film but the BGM is just too good. The focus is only on revenge and action. But when brutality is being done to innocent children, then please stop as it is too much to handle.

But this movie is full of heroism, no matter how much beating the hero gets, it will not make any difference to him, he will get up and take revenge. I will give 3 stars to Marco just for its action and such intense brutal scenes, whereas I will minus 1 star for the story line and despite being brutal, the buildup of any character is not such that it connects, so 1 more star cut. But after seeing this film I am sure that MALAYALAM CINEMA IS THE BEST INDIAN CINEMA AND WILL BRING REVOLUTION.

Some Popular Malayalam Movies of 2024 are- Bramayugam starring Mammooty Sir, Manjummel Boys, Meiyazhagan starring Karthi, ARM starring Tovino Thomas, Kishkindha Kaandam, Malaikottai Valiban and Barroz starring Mohanlal, Premalu, Adujeevitham- THE GOAT LIFE starring Prithviraj, Aavesham with Fahadh Faasil, Turbo with Mammooty Sir, Thalavan, Vaazha - Biopic of a Billion Boys, Ullozhukku and All We Imagine as Light. If the CBFC Board would have sent Maharaja of Tamil Industry or The Goat Life, then I am sure that India would have easily won the Oscar. Bollywood is NOT THE BEST And Is Way Behind Malayalam Industry. It will stream on Netflix in Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi by last week of January or the first week of February. Moreover, the OTT version of Marco will reportedly have an extended runtime that will consist of all the deleted scenes and more.
