Tuner: A Sharp, Suspenseful Acoustic Thriller!

Tuner: A Super Tense Thriller Where Music Meets Crime 🎹🔒 Directed by Daniel Roher (the guy who made Navalny ), Tuner takes a very quiet, old-school job and turns it into a high-voltage mind game. It is a lot like those classic suspense movies where a person’s special talent becomes their biggest problem. The movie beautifully turns the simple science of sound and pitch into pure thrill, giving us a super smart robbery story. The Vibe: Amazing Sound Design Meets Big Crime 🎚️🏢 The film does a great job of showing a deep character story while keeping you on the edge of your seat. The Story: We follow a lonely, super-focused piano tuner who has a literal superpower, he has 'perfect pitch' and can understand sounds like nobody else. His quiet daily routine goes out the window when a fancy gang of criminals forces him to join them. The Robbery: The mission is perfectly made for him. He has to use his crazy good hearing to crack an impossible, high-security loc...

Amaran + Bagheera Movie Review: Tamil Industry V/S Kannada Industry- Who won?

AMARAN:

Review: Just like in the South, if Fahadh Faasil or Mammooty Sir's name is associated with any project, then it must be of top class, similarly the lead hero of this movie is Sivakarthikeyan, this guy does not make movies, he lives them. This movie is made on the biopic of Major Mukund Varadharaajan, who gets the credit for removing terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir.

There is so much material in Major Mukund's life, can 2 hours and 50 minutes, justify it. So brother, first of all, the movie's positive is also its negative and that is the first half of the movie. The romance takes a good amount of time and as soon as the romance part started, I started feeling that it is the same war drama again, the romantic story of a typical Indian hero, the hero is going to leave and etc.

But Sai Pallavi has shocked and surprised with her amazing performance. It is a very simple love story, but it feels like the movie, "96". When Mukund goes back to the Indian Army, and takes the passport size photo and given to him by Indu who is Sai Pallavi, that moment was so nice. I had a doubt about Sai Pallavi, will she be able to play the role of Sita in Ramayan but after seeing her performance in Amaran, I am confident that she is the best.

Thanks to her, I did not feel bored at all during the romance part. Before the interval, we get to see a long chase scene and war action scene and if I talk about the negative, then when that action scene ends, when their mission ends, after that I was thinking What will they show in the second half. I mean there should be some suspense or twist before the interval, so one will be excited for the 2nd half.

But, when Mukund and team complete the long terrorist mission before the interval, then it feels like what will they show next? So yes, the makers could not build up the excitement, like in Uri, Article 370 or in The Kashmir Files. An important character dies in the war scene, we get a feeling of revenge that after the interval we will beat the villain up.

But there is nothing like that here, the movie goes on in a very simple way. But in the midst of all this, whether it was Mukund from college days or a soldier or Major Mukund, Sivakarthikeyan played all three characters in the best way. That personality, screen presence in the action scenes, it feels complete. But if you have taken so much time from us in the first half for the romance character build up that it may feel a bit more emotional.

In the second half too when Mukund leaves Kashmir and goes back to his home and then the same family drama and all that is seen in the first half and then one or two songs come in it, so the movie becomes even longer and emotional. We are not able to connect with the angle of the villain's side because it is shown very fast forward and some-some VFX is a very off feel, now I am talking about VFX because the budget of the movie is 200 crores and the VFX is of Baap level in some places as well.

In the second half, you feel that the movie is a little long, but the movie wins your heart when the ending happens, brother, the makers make us connect so emotionally with the character and if he or his family has suffered anything, you feel that this has happened to me, to my family. I saw the movie in Hindi, the dubbing was quite good, I would like to give this movie 7.5 out of 10. It is streaming on Netflix.

BAGHEERA:-

Review

Bagheera is not at all like Batman, it is not at all that I am going to roast the movie as there are good things in the movie. The hero was a policeman, his mind got shaken, he was not able to solve the crime, so he became a hero overnight, that it is, he became a superhero. Now what is his super power? He is dodging a bullet coming from the front as if it is nothing but the axe thrown by him hits the person in front equally. The majn trigger point of the film is when a girl burns herself outside the police station, that was such an epic movement. The lead actor becomes a superhero overnight from a police officer, that seemed very valid to me, 10 on 10 for these short emotional scenes.

The makers have caught hold of the issue of women safety. Women are being picked up everywhere, anyone is being raped, for that buildup, brother, the movie has to be accepted, but brother, this movie is action, right, and in the name of action, the same thing that we saw in Salaar, saw in Martin, saw in KGF. The hero will stand at one place, okay, he will not move, those four goons will come from this side, two-three goons will come from that side and the hero should just fall, no, he will not fall, he will do somersaults, gulati and then fall and all this you will have to watch it in slow motion. Brother, what kind of addiction have people nurtured. Bagheera is a 2 hours 40 minutes movie, which feels very long in the second half, the setup, build-up and cinematography of this movie is good. I would like to give this movie a max to max 5 out of 10. It is streaming on Netflix.

Narivetta: The Wolf Hunt Movie Review: Tovino Thomas' Boldest Film YET??

So, I watched the movie Narivetta, which actually released in theatres a month ago. But I didn’t get a chance to watch it earlier because there was no watch option available here. I wanted to watch it mainly because, first of all, Malayalam films usually have strong content, and secondly, this movie had created quite a hype after its theatrical release. Now, this movie has come on Sony Liv, it was supposed to release on 11th July, but they uploaded it a day earlier. Anyway, it’s finally here, and I have watched it. The total length of the movie is around two hours and fifteen minutes. The first half may make you wonder whether to continue watching or not because the gripping moments, which you expect in any content, disappear after the first 15 minutes. It follows a simple storyline about one man who is poor but educated. He works very hard to become an IPS officer, but due to his family’s poor financial condition, he is forced to take a job as a CRPF constable. After that, the story t...

Meiyazhagan Movie Review: A Story of Stories, Forgotten Memories, and Quiet Reflections

You cannot call yourself a true fan of Indian cinema until you have watched the masterpiece 96 from the Tamil film industry. It is an experience that takes all of us back in time under the pretext of showing a film. This cinema is more real and emotional than real life itself, where you start finding yourself, and when the film ends, you try your best to somehow change its ending. Very few movies are made that you won’t find a single person in the entire world speaking against. Every person who has watched this film became a lifelong fan. The story of Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha was truly once in a lifetime. Every single scene in the film was perfect, every dialogue had meaning, and the music was heavenly. But listen carefully, I said ‘was’, because past tense no longer applies. Now, in the present, there is a film that can rival 96, a film so flawless that no human on this earth can find a mistake in it. If anyone asks for the true meaning of the word ‘cinema’, just show them this fil...

Argylle Movie Review: A Shocking No-Hype Film

So I went to see Superman i.e. Henry Cavill's latest film Argylle which is a spy comedy thriller movie of 2 hours 19 minutes. How is this film, let's talk. Well hello, my name is Artist and we will meet again and again. First of all, this film is not hyped, brother, no seriously, the show I went to, the theatre was actually completely empty. Well, is it worth taking interest or not? Let's talk about the movie, brother, even though its story is from a spy genre, Story telling and concept shown is very different, I mean from a writer's point of view, in the first half you will feel as if you are watching a super natural fictional story, I will not tell much otherwise it will be a spoiler. But the way the writer's fictional character has been connected with real life was great and also I liked the action sequences and editing of this film is the best, the best example of which you can see in its train sequence. You will find it in the sequence where a good fight is goi...
