Scam 1992 is sitting at the top position in the Indian web series. It is such a show that we did not watch for any actor, its content was the real hero, nobody even knew the age of Harshad Mehta before but after watching the series, it seemed as if everyone has done PhD in Harshad's life, we became experts in the share market overnight. But today I will tell you the story of a person who could blackmail Harshad Mehta on his own, Harshad took a lot of risk in life and secretly fell in love with the share market, but the ending turned out to be a tragedy, but this man is even more clever than that and has not been caught till date. He is the one who scared the richest man of India. In 1990, the bank account balance of this man was 100 crores, can you believe it?
This man has the madness to spend 80 lakhs in one night, that too 30 years behind in time and you will be shocked to hear about the purpose for which he spent so much money. Lucky Baskhar is such an underrated film, this film did the work in just two and a half hours for which even Scam 1992 took 10 long episodes to complete. Earning 100 crores which is a dream for big budget movies these days, this South Indian film has crossed it easily even when Kanguva, Amaran, Bhool Bhulaiya 3, Singham Again, Venom 3 were in theatres. The best thing is that you don't have to go out to watch the film, you can sit at home comfortably on Netflix with Hindi dubbing. The story revolves around Baskhar who has the world record of Taking money from others be it ₹100, ₹200, ₹500, ₹10000 etc. He works in a bank which means 10-15 hours of the day, only money revolves around him. But his honesty is such that the key of the bank's vault in which the money of the whole city is deposited is kept in Baskhar's pocket.
Then, Baskhar lands in the sea of Mumbai, a ship inside which there are three luxury cars, which even the richest man of the city might not be able to buy. L for Lucky Bhaskar means the person whose broken scooter is mortgaged to a goon of the city and with the money received from him Baskhar is paying school fees. That Bhaskar is responsible for bringing those cars to Mumbai whose price must have been in crores even 30 years ago, Something doesn't fit right, didn't you read carefully? Lucky Bhaskar is lucky because that Harshad Mehta, for whom one can put everything at stake, from a minister to an actor want to talk to him for a second, was himself desperate to talk to this Baskhar for a few seconds. The richest man of the city was on the line and Baskhar disconnected the call. Even after hearing this, if you were not surprised, the. Askhar earns ₹ 6000 per month as salary but his bank balance is so much that CBI has to be called to count it. Are you enjoying listening to this?
The concept seems interesting, right? And even more interesting is how will the film end? You must be thinking about it the most. It definitely feels like Scam, 1992 but I promise that this story is different from that, I will not compare it. But whoever liked that will like this film too. To be honest, I did not even realize when two and a half hours passed. This film moves so fast. A lot of things keep happening. Not even a second will seem extra or useless. Dulquer Salmaan, just this name is enough to without any doubt watch the film till the end.
If DQ’s name is written on the poster of a film then for sure, that film will not be any disaster. In the fil, 100 crore scam, Harshad Mehta, such big words are coming, yet everything feels so real and natural, just because of Dulquer's acting. This guy should get a separate award for film selection. A masterpiece romance like Sita Ramam and now a thrill suspense like Lucky Bhaskar that lasts till the end. I don't think anyone needs to go to the theatre, when this level of cinema is coming to you on OTT, this film is worth the subscription money in just two and a half hours. Hindi dubbing is absolutely amazing, that means you will feel the emotions absolutely real, the dialogues will not have the quality of dub like Kanguva.
The dialogues feel as if the movie has been shot separately in Hindi. The only thing I missed was if there was a strong villain like in Scam 1992, then Bhaskar's life would have become a complete five-star cinema experience. I know you guys are excited to see the ending of the film and I don't want to stop you for long, but find Lucky Baskar and watch it on Netflix. Lucky Baskhar is the best cinema experience of 2024, so please go and watch it and let me know what are your thoughts on this movie in the comments.
