Tuner: A Sharp, Suspenseful Acoustic Thriller!

Tuner: A Super Tense Thriller Where Music Meets Crime 🎹🔒 Directed by Daniel Roher (the guy who made Navalny ), Tuner takes a very quiet, old-school job and turns it into a high-voltage mind game. It is a lot like those classic suspense movies where a person’s special talent becomes their biggest problem. The movie beautifully turns the simple science of sound and pitch into pure thrill, giving us a super smart robbery story. The Vibe: Amazing Sound Design Meets Big Crime 🎚️🏢 The film does a great job of showing a deep character story while keeping you on the edge of your seat. The Story: We follow a lonely, super-focused piano tuner who has a literal superpower, he has 'perfect pitch' and can understand sounds like nobody else. His quiet daily routine goes out the window when a fancy gang of criminals forces him to join them. The Robbery: The mission is perfectly made for him. He has to use his crazy good hearing to crack an impossible, high-security loc...

Monkey Man Trailer Review: हनुमानज़ी से Inspired Hollywood Movie?

Not even a month has passed since 2024 started and we already have the best trailer, its name is Monkey Man starring Dev Patel, whom we all saw in Slum Dog Millionaire. He is the writer, director, producer and main actor of this movie. Well, hello, my name is Artist and we will meet again and again. I don't know if it will be released in India. Now see before I start giving reasons why I Think It's the Best Trailer Yet is that one thing that needs to be touched upon is that all this is possible because it has been shot for a movie. But at the same time cutting the trailer is an art and Monkey Man does it very well because in a movie there can be a total of 1000, 2000 or even more shorts.

While making the trailer, first of all you have to choose around 100 of them. It sounds like such a difficult task, but once all these shorts are collected, you have arranged them. Next three steps: What Monkey Man does very well, number one, is to keep the overall high energy and high intensity in front of the actors in action movies. While doing action, it means that in majority of the cases, you have already seen the stun doubles. Now many people do a good job in this, but there are only a few special ones who give so much commitment to the roles that while throwing the punch, you can see their face. You can see and while doing that thing in actual, they themselves look cool. What I am trying to tell you is how difficult it is in reality, you will know it yourself. Just call two of your extra friends, hold the camera of one and give it to the other.

Stand in front and track yourself that by punching with such enthusiasm, you will feel from inside that yes brother, I am giving my 100%, but when you see the same in the video, it looks like a toddler is swinging his arms and legs. In most of the cases, it does not look good because the body has to maintain a form, it has to give a speed, it has to not actually hit you, but the person in front. This complexity makes quick cuts and jumps around the extras in slow motion. But whatever we have seen inside Monkey Man, this is not the case, it looks like he is actually doing it and looking like a wow. Now while making a picture, there are many tricks to sell this thing. If you are not able to do it, then play the video taken of him punching himself and watch it in 1.5 speed. You will see the punch but then you will also know that you have fast forwarded, that is why there is a concept called Under-Cranking.

There are features inside the camera that you can shoot not only in 60 or 30 fps but also in 18 fps, 19 fps, 20 fps or 21 fps. If you shoot it in 21 and play it back in 24 then it looks a little fast without actually looking like you have fast forwarded it. Second trick: What happens is that the moment of contact comes where the punch should hit the mouth but you cannot hit, so if you pull it back a little, you make the frame of that exact moment disappear, hence it will be very abrupt and your mind will focus on that gap frame. The second thing the trailer fills is amazing. Its music has been taken from a Punjabi song, which in itself is a recent example of how energetic it can be. We have seen Animal Ke Andar with Arjan Vaily and it’s bgm. In Monkey Man, the music of Tabla and a lot of sound effects in the video creates a magic. If you want to spoil this illusion, then pick your favorite scene of your favorite movie and just watch the video in it.

Mute the sound and the whole feel will be lost to only 70-80%. It is told that there is going to be a story of Rich vs Poor, Dev Patel's character is asking for a job and if you pay attention then there are very few action shots in it but not zero because in the middle there is a scene like a person's head is in ashes. Hitting a tree, small tempo boost and sound effect with impact in it, the pattern that you have noticed so far, repeating it as a whole, seeing a small ray, stopping suddenly where Dev Patel is shouting, there is no music at all so that his screaming shines.

Monkey Man goes One Step forward because the main hero, whom till now we have been seeing only as a human being, has to have a connection with the Monkey Man aka Hanumanji too. Fingers crossed, the picture is good and will release on 5th April. If you have any complaints then please let me know in the comments or wait for some time and I will meet you in the next blog.

Narivetta: The Wolf Hunt Movie Review: Tovino Thomas' Boldest Film YET??

So, I watched the movie Narivetta, which actually released in theatres a month ago. But I didn’t get a chance to watch it earlier because there was no watch option available here. I wanted to watch it mainly because, first of all, Malayalam films usually have strong content, and secondly, this movie had created quite a hype after its theatrical release. Now, this movie has come on Sony Liv, it was supposed to release on 11th July, but they uploaded it a day earlier. Anyway, it’s finally here, and I have watched it. The total length of the movie is around two hours and fifteen minutes. The first half may make you wonder whether to continue watching or not because the gripping moments, which you expect in any content, disappear after the first 15 minutes. It follows a simple storyline about one man who is poor but educated. He works very hard to become an IPS officer, but due to his family’s poor financial condition, he is forced to take a job as a CRPF constable. After that, the story t...

Meiyazhagan Movie Review: A Story of Stories, Forgotten Memories, and Quiet Reflections

You cannot call yourself a true fan of Indian cinema until you have watched the masterpiece 96 from the Tamil film industry. It is an experience that takes all of us back in time under the pretext of showing a film. This cinema is more real and emotional than real life itself, where you start finding yourself, and when the film ends, you try your best to somehow change its ending. Very few movies are made that you won’t find a single person in the entire world speaking against. Every person who has watched this film became a lifelong fan. The story of Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha was truly once in a lifetime. Every single scene in the film was perfect, every dialogue had meaning, and the music was heavenly. But listen carefully, I said ‘was’, because past tense no longer applies. Now, in the present, there is a film that can rival 96, a film so flawless that no human on this earth can find a mistake in it. If anyone asks for the true meaning of the word ‘cinema’, just show them this fil...

Argylle Movie Review: A Shocking No-Hype Film

So I went to see Superman i.e. Henry Cavill's latest film Argylle which is a spy comedy thriller movie of 2 hours 19 minutes. How is this film, let's talk. Well hello, my name is Artist and we will meet again and again. First of all, this film is not hyped, brother, no seriously, the show I went to, the theatre was actually completely empty. Well, is it worth taking interest or not? Let's talk about the movie, brother, even though its story is from a spy genre, Story telling and concept shown is very different, I mean from a writer's point of view, in the first half you will feel as if you are watching a super natural fictional story, I will not tell much otherwise it will be a spoiler. But the way the writer's fictional character has been connected with real life was great and also I liked the action sequences and editing of this film is the best, the best example of which you can see in its train sequence. You will find it in the sequence where a good fight is goi...
