There was a movie in Gujarati language named Vash which was also a super hit in Gujarati language, thank god that movie was not released here and I did not see it because its remake is coming in the name of Shaitan starring Ajay Devgan, R Madhavan and Jyothika in a lead role. The teaser is out, so let's talk a little about it. Well hello, my name is Artist and we will meet again and again.
Whenever Ajay Devgan raises the topic of a remake, he definitely leaves his own mark on it and people like that film even though it is a remake, be it the example of Drishyam, Drishyam 2 or Bhola but where did it make any difference to the people, people enjoyed it and the film also broke the earning records.
Then using the same formula with the remake of Vash, they have made Shaitan which is basically a super natural horror thriller film. It will be fictional and super natural and as soon as this teaser starts, the voice modulation of R. Madhavan sir, with what deep and devilish voice he has delivered the dialogues, hats off and it seems that the dialogue used in the teaser will be limited to the teaser only, which is being used only for promotion because the evil character of R Madhavan is so dangerous and how he is going to trap a family with the knowledge of Tantra Mantra.
If we talk about its original version i.e. Vash, then there an unknown person who comes to someone's house and after that he meets the young people there. He controls the girl with his knowledge of Tantra Mantra, after which the girl keeps doing whatever the unknown person asks her to do, hence the same topic will remain in this film too.
Vash has not been dubbed in Hindi, because of which Shaitan movie will definitely benefit from it. The director of the film is Vikas Bahl Saheb who had earlier directed Ganpat which was really very bad direction. I hope that the direction of this film is a little good because its makers have made good films like Drishyam, Drishyam 2, Singham, Khuda Hafiz etc. etc. But because this movie comes under Devgan Films, then obviously we get a glimpse of Ajay Devgan's direction in it.
According to the end theme, this will be a good vs evil battle movie in which there will be a good couple and their daughter. Ajay Devgan and Jyotika as parent and their daughter if reports are to be believed then the lead actress who has played the role of the daughter in the original film, Vash will again play the role of a daughter. Her name is in both IMDB credits Shaitan and Vash, so I think it may not be too challenging for that actress to do the same role again.
But let's see its trailer when it comes. I hope that the movie should provide us with good content so that people can be entertained. By the way, the movie is coming in theaters on March 8th.
