Hanu-Man Movie Review: Our Own Indian Superhero Universe Is Ready All Thanks To Prashant Varma


Yes yes, the first film of India's first ever superhero universe Hanuman has come in theaters, and how is this movie, let's talk. Well hello, my name is Artist and we will meet again and again. It happens in all the stand alone movies of super heroes that the powers of the villain and super hero of the movie are introduced in the first half. Here also the super powers of the villain and hero are introduced at the beginning of the first half and towards the end of the first half. But I like the way they connect Lord Pavanputra Hanuman's super power to the hero.
You must have heard in the trailer that the scene of Rudhra Mani and Samundar is shown, it is properly explained to us with very good cinema graphics. Even in the first half, you will feel that all the other super heroes that we have been seeing till date, somewhere an attempt is being made to inculcate in our mind. But Forget Spiderman, Superman, Batman, now we have our own Indian super hero whose powers are direct. Many super powers have been teased in a funny way and this movie keeps you comfortably engaged with its humor, it makes us feel that this is not a superhero who is glamorous. This is the story of a superhero whose roots are linked to Indian culture and the way that culture has been represented through Anjanadri, the region, the people there, the natural backgrounds there, the huge statue of Kesari Sutta Chiranjeevi Hanuman ji built there.

And also repeatedly chanting mantras like songs will make you feel very devotional but but but on one hand where a superhero movie is being made, I don't know why love story and forced songs are included especially in Indian superhero movies. I mean especially in the second half there is a scene where the villain is just about to catch the hero and then in the middle he saves the girlfriend and in the middle the song starts which I never expected from Prashant Verma but beside this climax ka Hanuman. That scene of appearance of G and after that the scene which continues for 5 to 6 minutes, boss, you will love that scene brother, overall VFX is even in terms of CGI and story build up, despite having a low budget of about ₹30-40 crores, this is definitely your entertainment.

And it will also create a hope in the Indian audience that yes, a superhero movie can be made in our India too by keeping the Indian culture together. The movie is very simple. Yes, the last fight sequence which is a fight between the villagers and the villain side. The way it has been shot in the middle seems like a setup has been made, a kind of stage fight is going on, just that scene was sounding very fake. But as I said earlier, the movie is very simple, do not think too much. While watching this movie, you can enjoy it with the whole family. And yes, there is no credit scene etc., so there is no need to wait till the end, only the next part will come in 2025, you are told this and the movie is over.
