Salaar Movie Review: Our Rebel Star PRABHAS IS BACK!!

There are so many movies in theaters every Friday, no one even remembers them, but there is one Friday which will be remembered the whole year. It is not the year 2023, it is Salaar Year (Mastermind Prashant Neel Year), Prashant Neel had already hinted about it, but we did not understand when we saw it. If you watch Hollywood movies, you must have heard the name of Christopher Nolan. Booking a ticket to his movies means boarding a plane to another world. As soon as the doors of theaters open, we reach a new world, just like that Mastermind Prashant Neel has done somewhat similar work. When you think about KGF, it will seem as if we have lived in it for a year or two. We may not know the name of our neighbour, but everyone knows Badi Maa of KGF and that is why. Many people had said that the magic that KGF has done will never be repeated again, there is no chance of such cinema once again, but will you believe if I tell you that this time Prashant Neel has defeated Prashant Neel himself. Because the race of Salaar started from the place where KGF ends.

Lion is the king of the jungle. Everyone is afraid, but when the lion starts getting scared in his own jungle, then understand that a dinosaur has arrived at the door. Oh my God, what did I see for the whole 3 hours? I can't believe my eyes. You guys were calling Animal so violent, so after watching Salaar, perhaps you won't be able to say anything. I have never seen an action movie of this level till now, Boss, neither in Bollywood nor in Hollywood. Neither in the Tollywood nor in Kollywood, everything has failed sir and the best thing is that this action has a meaning, there is a region, there is a detailed story in this film for which this action is being done. Mahabharata is the most important chapter of our Indian history. Prashant Neel has shown how it will be narrated in the modern time. Duryodhana wanted the throne of the king but the power of the enemy in front was too much and God himself was with him. If there was a fight like this, Duryodhana would have lost miserably and he would have been cut into pieces and killed. But when the war actually happened, the war lasted much longer than expected because there was someone else along with Duryodhana, it was Mahavir Karna, who was such a friend in friendship that he promised his friend to conquer the whole world and his power was such that even Lord Krishna may get tired of clapping, but Neel Saheb has changed the face of the entire Mahabharata by adding a small twist to this story because in this fight, Karna has not stood behind Duryodhana but stood face to face, there is no point in giving up his life.

We will have to kill each other, this Mahabharata will be written not with, but with the sword. Now, the shock you felt after hearing this one line has been presented by Prashant Neel with dangerous storytelling in which many twists and turns are hidden in KGF. And in KGF, many people complain that the story is nothing special, all their complaints will go away after Salaar. Boss, the Prabhas with whom you fell in love 8 years back, during the time of Baahubali, is literally back now. He is back, this is the beginning of the next innings which nobody knows how long it will last. What a tremendous transformation Prabhas has done from Adipurush to Salaar. Such a screen presence in front of which the entire Indian cinema seems like a child. There is a sequence in Salaar in which there is a reference to Kali Mata and Prabhas has incarnated the God. Literally everyone in the theater got goosebumps and there was noone sitting down. Prabhas is like a time bomb in this film as long as the timer is on, everything is normal but as soon as the timer ends, his character explodes and tears everything apart. Literally, I have watched the film sitting in a stadium, not a theatre. I have seen the level of action never seen before and Prabhas' presence in it creates a deadly combination. I can watch 30 hours continuously, not three. Prashant Neel has the power to make even a scene with a small dialogue iconic.

What a tremendous imagination Prashant Neel has, No competition can be done eith his films. The entire film is like a game of chess in which Prabhas is standing in front of the king. They are like the would-be Wazir, but the rest of the pieces are also a complete part of this game. There are many small but powerful characters with the help of which such scenes are created that stick in your mind. Salaar is not a one-man show picture and that's it.

The thing is that it is bigger and more detailed in comparison to KGF, Prithviraj's character is very important in this film and to see what this guy can do in part two, I am ready to buy the ticket right now for Prabhas plus Prithviraj which is action in the climax. After watching it, you will start thinking that Leo, Vikram, Kaithi, Pushpa, all these movies are for children. Yes, I will definitely give you a clarity. If you do not like violent movies with bloodshed, then do not buy the ticket at all because you must accept that Prabhas is in this movie only and only as Salaar and in his hands the sword will be cutting someone into two pieces every 2 minutes, then brother, from my side Salaar will get full and a half stars out of five, Number One- Elevation: Prabhas's entry, interval scene, that Kali Mata sequence and climax. Number Two will be remembered throughout life, not only selling the film on the basis of action but describing the action through the story. Number Three is Prabhas's comeback and Godly screen presence. Fire is Fire. All the records of Indian cinema will be ended in part two. Number Four is for Prashant Neel's direction, Goose bombs with full violence. Half a star for the cast selection of the movie, all the actors do justice to their roles.

Among the negatives, the only small complaint is that the slightly emotional side like KGF felt less to me. It was because of the Shruti Hassan and mother angle that it did not impress me that much. Did you know that perhaps this too will be treated in part two? Are you waiting for Rebel Star Prabhas's Salaar or Rocking Star's KGF 3. I challenge you to find something better than Salar and bring it and I know it is impossible as I, Myself have searched for it. BOX OFFICE COLLECTIONS:

Salaar' has minted ₹95 crore in India on its day of release. Salaar's global opening day gross of ₹179 crore was substantially more than the global opening day gross of ₹140 crore for Rebel Star Prabhas's infamous flop, Adipurush. Apart from India, the film has performed well in the Unites States as well leading it to be the highest ever grossing Indian film of 2023. Salaar is reported to cross ₹250 crores today.

Prabhas is desperate for a win. After delivering the two blockbuster Baahubali films, the actor starred in a string of high-profile disasters such as Radhe Shyam and Adipurush except Saaho which was a semi-hit and revovered its budget. After Salaar, he’ll star in Kalki 2898 AD, reportedly the most expensive Indian film ever produced. He’ll also star in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, and reprise his role as Salaar in a second installment.

Unlike SRK’s previous hits like Jawan and Pathaan, Dunki is struggling at the box office, with around Rs 75 crore in domestic revenue in three days.
